I started in mortgage lending in 2010 as a receptionist at a broker. I learned the business from the ground up, trained in processing, and worked my way to a loan originator license.

That path shapes how I work. Because I know what underwriters look for and where files tend to stall, I prepare every loan to move smoothly from application to closing. After time at correspondent lenders, I returned to the broker side for one reason: it lets me shop the market and match each client with the right loan, not just the one a single lender offers.

I’m happy to help every kind of borrower, including straightforward salary loans. But if you’re self-employed, earn high commission, are paid on a 1099, or have a more complex pay structure, the lender you choose matters. Your income has to be understood, structured properly, and presented well to underwriting. In inexperienced hands, these loans can leave borrowers spinning their wheels. Along the way, I’ve guided first-time, move-up, and downsizing buyers through conventional, VA, and FHA financing, and I help investors build their portfolios and fund fix-and-flip projects.
